Brooklyn Oenology
Brooklyn Oenology (BOE) is an ode to the borough’s culture and is inspired by the desire to bring New Yorkers’ wines from their own state. Winemaker Alie Shaper expands the concept of terroir — how a particular region’s climate, soils, and aspects influence wine and give it a sense of place — by incorporating pieces by Brooklyn artists on every label. Each vintage highlights the very best of New York state’s wine country.
BOE Social Club, our line of canned wines within this series, is a tribute to the “social clubs” formed in Brooklyn by immigrant populations in the 19th century, which served as meeting grounds for political and civil discourse, connection, and camaraderie! They come in white wine, rosé, and red wine blends, are canned to enjoy on the go, and feature local street artists revered in the borough — the perfect companion for your next social adventure!
