2022 Saltbird Cellars "Roseate" Rose

This vintage is a fresh and playful take on the “Roseate” rosé that dances between an uncommon trio of varietals. Sauvignon Blanc brings fresh acidity and is met with the spicy punch of Carmenere and the lush, round tones of Merlot. This wine pirouettes between acidity, spice, and juicy fruit flavors — a first sniff, notes of rhubarb and orange blossom, followed by watermelon and ripe papaya, and ending with a zesty, lingering splash of orange. It is a rosé that does not conform and a blend you’ve likely never tried before.
