"Electra Orangino" is another interpretation of the fermenting juice that also makes up 2022 As If "Gratitude". Its mesmerizing deep orange greets the nose with clementine and ginger and follows with passionfruit, apricot, and persimmon flavors. Its medium body and understated acidity make it a happy companion to chicken or fish dishes, soft, mild cheeses, or as an aperitif wine to begin an evening.
Process
"Electra Orangino" is a "new wine" bottled directly after fermentation, with no further fining, filtering, stabilizing, or maturation. It's another interpretation of the fermenting juice that also makes up the 2022 As If "Gratitude", however, this batch was allowed to finish fermenting, and bottled as a still wine. Like the "Gratitude", it has fermented lees in the bottle. The drinker can leave the lees behind or gently shake the bottle and reintegrate for a fuller-bodied wine.
